This 14.22-mm (0.56-in.) LED seven-segment display uses industry-standard size package and pinout. The device is available in either common anode or common cathode. The choice of colors includes High Efficiency Red (HER), Green, AlGaAs Red, and Yellow. The displays are suitable for indoor use.

A built-in current limiting resistor is present in the LEDs. There is no need for an external current limiter with a 12 volt source when using resistor LEDs. Because of this, resistor LEDs become an affordable option, conserving space and doing away with the need for an extra resistor. The resistor family offers a broad viewing angle of 60° and a choice of colour options.
