The CS9370 is a full-featured DTMF receiver that combines the operations of a band split filter and a digital decoder. Switched capacitor techniques are used in the filter section's high- and low-group filters as well as dial-tone rejection. The decoder uses digital counting algorithms to recognise and convert all 16 DTMF tone-pairs into 4-bit code. The Intersil CD22M3494 is a 128-switch analogue switch array capable of handling signals ranging from DC to video. Because of the switch structure, input signals can swing throughout the entire supply voltage range, from VDD to VEE. The ADDRESS input of the 7to 128 line decoder can be used to address each of the 128 switches. The signal to the DATA input determines the state of the addressed switch. When the STROBE input rises high from its normally low position, a low or zero input will open the switch, whereas a high logic level or a one will result in the closure of the targeted switch.
