The initial 74LS (Low-power Schottky) family employs TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) circuitry, which is quick but takes more power than succeeding generations. The 74 series is still referred to as the 'TTL series'.

A CMOS device with three 3-input NOR gates is called the CD4025. It is sometimes referred to as a Triple 3-Input NOR Gate since it has three gates inside and each gate has three inputs.
A gate known as a NOR gate only produces a HIGH output when all of its inputs are HIGH. It functions as a 3-input OR gate with an output NOT gate/inverter.
