The S1D13517 is a color LCD graphics controller which uses an external SDRAM display buffer. The S1D13517 supports an 8/16-bit indirect host interface while providing high performance bandwidth to external SDRAM, allowing for fast screen updates. 

The MAX7219/MAX7221 are small, serial input/output common-cathode display drivers that connect microprocessors (Ps) to bar-graph displays, 64 individual LED displays, or 7-segment numeric LED displays with up to 8 digits. A BCD code-B decoder, multiplex scan circuitry, segment and digit drivers, and an 8x8 static RAM that saves every digit are all included on the device. The L298 is a 15-lead Multiwatt and PowerSO20 integrated monolithic circuit. It's a high voltage, high current twin full-bridge driver that can receive conventional TTL logic levels and drive inductive loads including relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors. There are two enable inputs to enable or disable the device independently of the input signals.The emitters of each bridge's bottom transistors are linked together, and the matching external terminal may be used to connect an external sensing resistor. A second supply input is supplied so that the logic may operate at a lower voltage.

A monolithic, 16-bit shift register with low voltage and current consumption called the STP16CP05 was created for LED panel displays. A 16-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register in the STP16CP05 supplies data to a 16-bit D-type storage register. To drive the LEDs in the output stage, sixteen controlled current sources deliver continuous current ranging from 5 mA to 100 mA. The setup time for the output current is 40 ns (typical), which enhances system performance. By adjusting the output current of the STP16CP05 with an external resistor, the LEDs' brightness may be managed. 

In applications controlled by microcomputers, the L297 Stepper Motor Controller IC creates four phase drive signals for two phase bipolar and four phase unipolar step motors. Half-step, normal, and wawe drive modes are available for the motor, and onchip PWM chopper circuits provide switch-mode control of the current in the windings. The workload on the microprocessor and the programmer is significantly reduced because the phases are created internally. The L297, which is available in DIP20 and SO20 packages, may be utilised with discrete transistors, darlingtons, or monolithic bridge drives like the L298N or L293E.

Current half-Hdrivers are quadruple-high in the L293 and L293D devices. The L293 is made to offer bidirectional drivecurrents of up to 1A at voltages between 4.5 and 36 volts.The L293 is not intended to deliver bidirectional driving currents of more than 600 mA at voltages between 4.5 and 36 volts.Both devices are intended to drive inductive loads in positive supply applications, including relays, solenoids, DC and bipolar stepping motors, among others.

The inbuilt 70V/300mΩ MOSFET in the BP1808 DC/DC constant current LED driver is intended to operate across a broad input-voltage range of 3V to 60V. It is possible to setup the BP1808 with a Buck, Boost, or BuckBoost topology. An external current sensing resistor programs the LED current using a 200 mV current sense reference, minimizing power loss. By using a DIM pin, the BP1808 supports both analog and PWM dimming.
